New Grant Award
The Gruter Institute is proud to announce funding from the Ewing Marion Kauffman Foundation for the Program on Understanding Innovation. This program will build off of the success of Gruter Institute research to date to foster a highly interdisciplinary study of innovation and growth in various complex systems in search of commonalities and differences. The goal is to provide new insights about what constitutes an ecosystem receptive to innovation versus hostile to innovation. This systems-level theory of innovation and growth will refine our understanding of the key features that determine the extent to which a given ecosystem is receptive to innovation and growth. With this toolkit in hand , Gruter Institute Research Program participants will be best equipped to positively effect specific legal regimes, economic policies, and business approaches that foster innovation and growth and advance global quality of life.
